My Grace is All You Need

“‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” -2 Corinthians 12:9

No matter what we’re facing, we have God’s assurance that His grace and His strength are sufficient for ALL our needs. We don’t have to worry about whether we’re capable, or whether we’re enough, because He is.

God doesn’t work by making us invincible, strong, & picture perfect in ourselves. Imagine how proud & arrogant we’d all be. Instead, in His goodness & grace, He cares for us in our weakness; and He’s glorified when we acknowledge our need for Him.

It’s so easy to get caught up in what other people are doing. In how amazing, capable, over-achieving, & strong they are. When our thoughts are focused on the world around us, we compare ourselves & it often hurts. But when we shift our eyes up to the One who made us all, & are reminded of who He is, we can live confidently in our own weakness, knowing His strength & grace are all we need.
